jumping rock.

Photobucket
{sarah taking the plunge}
{phelps lake}
{phelps lake looking into death canyon}
{phelps lake bokeh.  boom, photography term}
{miss lynze enjoying the top of jumping rock}
one of my best friends is in town from nyc.
thank heavens the smoke cleared and the clouds parted ways,
she has seen the mighty tetons and enjoyed the mountain sun.
we took her to phelps lake yesterday for an easy and beautiful hike.
while we didn't see any bears...
we did do some end of the summer jumping rock action into the freezing lake.
okay, i totally didn't do it since it was super windy
but i got some fun photos.
so that kind of counts, right?

It must count.

It has to.

No one can really say otherwise. You might've plunged, you might not have plunged. It's all so Shakespearean and existential.

I always get so scared to jump off a rock! But then I do it and it's not that bad (except for the fact you have to adjust your top before coming back up) haha. It's beautiful there!

This looks amazing and reminds me of a camping trip I took earlier this summer when my best friend was in town from Argentina. Days like this are what we live for, right?
