i'm off into the woods!!

maybe its not that exciting because we aren't hiking in anywhere...

rather, we're driving.

if we get scared of bears, we're sleeping in the car but at least we'll set up our tent!

and eat s'mores and drink boxed wine.  that's all that matters, right?

while big camping treks are rewarding, car camping is just as fun.

here are some not-always-necessary but always-pretty-cool-accessories to take next time you head out into nature.

i've been a traveling fool lately with weddings galore.
when i am home, i've been working on weekends to get caught up.
resort town real estate.... it's a crazy world.
i'm hoping that next weekend will be a little more mellow as i've been dreaming of setting up camp.
it's the ultimate summer thing to do and i'm hoping to score this campsite again this summer.
jeff and i are also talking about car camping with an air mattress in the back of his truck!
add lots of blankets, pillows, and our buddy osker and i'll be in camping heaven.
and of course 'smores, duh.

i think everyone should camp at least once every summer, even if its in your backyard....or living room.

due to a fire ban in jackson hole,

there will be no fireworks this year for me.

but hey, i'd rather protect our beautiful mountains

and i'm sure somewhere in the valley, someone is saving a butt-load of cash.

summer is officially here and i couldn't be more excited.
jacksonians celebrated the solstice up at curtis canyon last night.
bonefires, camping, booze, friends.
oh, and a DJ played in the forest.
yeah, it was that awesome.

saturday. white water rafting. beer. yellowstone. camping curtis canyon. fireworks.

sunday. widespread panic. noodling. beer. camping. partying until the wee hours.

no work monday!
